SALTY LOTUS – TERMS, CONDITIONS & HOUSE POLICIES

Welcome to Salty Lotus.
Our approach is simple: to create a calm, effortless stay where design, privacy, and comfort are respected at all times.

These Terms & House Policies are designed to protect both guests and the property, while preserving the experience we aim to offer.

1. Arrival & Departure

  • Check-in: from 14:00 (2:00 PM)
  • Check-out: until 12:00 (12:00 PM)

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

For a smooth arrival, guests may be asked to provide identification details prior to check-in.

2. Guest Registration & Identification

All guests must present a valid passport or government-issued ID upon arrival, in compliance with Indonesian law.

Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.

The property reserves the right to refuse access to unregistered individuals.

3. Reservations, Rates & Payment

  • Rates are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise specified
  • Reservations may require full or partial prepayment depending on the selected rate
  • The property reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit / Debit Card
  • Bank Transfer
  • Cash (IDR)

Any outstanding balance must be settled at check-in unless otherwise agreed.

4. Cancellation, Modification & No-Show

Cancellation and modification policies vary according to the selected rate plan.

  • Flexible rates: cancellations allowed within the specified period
  • Non-refundable rates: full amount charged upon confirmation

In case of:

  • No-show → full reservation amount may be charged
  • Early departure → remaining nights may be charged

5. Security Deposit & Incidentals

A refundable security deposit may be required upon check-in.

This deposit covers:

  • Damages to the room or property
  • Missing items
  • Smoking violations
  • Additional services or consumption

The property reserves the right to charge the guest’s payment method for any applicable costs.

6. Soft Opening Disclaimer (Important)

Salty Lotus may operate under a soft opening phase, during which:

  • Certain facilities or services may be limited or still under refinement
  • Minor adjustments or maintenance may occur

By confirming a reservation, guests acknowledge and accept this condition.
No refunds or discounts will be granted based on soft opening conditions unless explicitly agreed.

7. Atmosphere & Quiet Hours

Salty Lotus is designed as a space of calm and presence.

To maintain this environment:

  • Quiet hours: 22:00 (10:00 PM) to 07:00 (7:00 AM)
  • Loud music, parties, or disruptive behavior are not permitted

Failure to respect quiet hours may result in intervention or termination of the stay.

8. Visitors & External Guests

  • External visitors must be registered at reception
  • The property reserves the right to limit or refuse visitor access

Unregistered overnight stays are not permitted and may result in additional charges or removal.

9. Smoking Policy

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms and enclosed spaces
  • Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas

Violation will result in a cleaning fee of minimum IDR 1,500,000 or equivalent to damage cost.

10. Damages, Loss & Cleaning Fees

Guests are responsible for maintaining the condition of their room.

Charges may apply for:

  • Damage to furniture, linen, or equipment
  • Stains requiring deep cleaning
  • Lost keys or property items
  • Excessive mess requiring special cleaning

The property reserves the right to assess and charge accordingly.

11. Personal Belongings & Liability

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.

Salty Lotus is not liable for:

  • Loss
  • Theft
  • Damage to personal items

We recommend securing valuables appropriately.

12. Safety, Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

Salty Lotus reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a stay without refund in cases of:

  • Disruptive or disrespectful behavior
  • Violation of property policies
  • Illegal activity
  • Behavior affecting the safety or comfort of others

13. Maintenance & Technical Issues

While all efforts are made to maintain facilities in optimal condition:

  • Occasional technical issues may arise (e.g. AC, water systems, electricity)
  • The team will act promptly to resolve any issue

Such occurrences do not automatically qualify for refunds unless the stay is significantly impacted.

14. Force Majeure

The property shall not be held liable for failure or delay due to circumstances beyond control, including:

  • Natural events
  • Government regulations
  • Infrastructure or utility disruptions

15. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a reservation and/or staying at Salty Lotus, guests acknowledge and agree to these Terms, Conditions, and House Policies.


SMS and Text Messaging Policy

We use a guest messaging platform to communicate with you regarding your stay. By providing your phone number during the booking process, you consent to receive text messages from the property.

Purpose: Text messaging may be used to send check-in instructions, access information, room readiness updates, and to respond to your requests during your stay.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a final confirmation message, after which no further SMS messages will be sent.

Help: If you experience issues or need assistance, you may reply HELP or contact the front desk directly.

Privacy of Mobile Data: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
